Kettlebell Instructor Matteo Caputo: Bio
Although Matteo has been training on and off for the last
15 years, he
started to get serious about it when he joined a self-protection
class
called Senshido. There he learned about bodyweight, plyometric,
core, and
functional training. He soon realized that doing a typical
bodybuilding
routine was not helping his Senshido classes; he decided
to try kettlebell
training. After training with the kettlebells for a few
weeks, he just loved
the challenge of it all. So much so that he wanted to become
a certified
instructor and did become one under the guidance of Shawn
Mozen. Since then,
he has been able to take his kettlebell training to a new
level and share
his knowledge with people who have a desire to train with
kettlebells. For
