Kettlebell Instructor Mario Mavrides: Bio
Mario
has been involved in sports and athletics for most of his
life, first as a provincially ranked soccer player and wrestler
and later as a competitive bodybuilder and physique coach.
Mario's approach to fitness can be considered as "no
nonsense training". By minimizing congecture and opinion
and challenging long held 'sacred cows' of fitness and excersise
Mario is able to cut through many of the absurd fitness
trends prevalent in the industry and find what truly works.
Only by appling a profound understanding of bio and neromechanics
in line with the irrefutable and immutable laws of physical
action is one able to break down movements into their components
parts and analyze each to ensure optimal efficiency in both
teaching and execution. In this manner only the most applicable
movements and approaches are considered for each client.
Mario firmly beleives, only through a thorough critical
analysis of each persons needs, capabilities and limitations
can a succesful process be developed and executed for optimal
results.
Currently as the Health Centre Manager at Persechini
Fitness in Newmarket, Ontario, Mario is guiding his
team of fitness professionals in helping hundreds of members
accomplish their long sought after fitness aspirations.
