Client Testimonials:
Lori Pederson, Redmond, Washington:
Craig’s technical knowledge of fitness training and muscle groups is outstanding. He would design workouts based on my current status and vary the workouts week by week.
Craig was always positive and success oriented and inspired me to push myself beyond what I thought was (humanly) possible. He set high expectations, and expected me to reach those goals because he believed I could.
Craig stressed the importance of mental focus during a workout which was something I needed to work on. He knew when I was not completely “present” and helped me to keep my mind completely on what I was doing.
Craig believed in the “whole person” approach to training, and was always eager to offer suggestions on nutrition, recovery, stretching, warming up, or just providing support for sports that were done outside of the gym, such as biking, skiing, and rowing.
Alex and Mary Jobe, Redmond, Washington:
You are about to hire one of the best personal trainers/persons that I have had the privilege to train with. Craig was always ready with a high energy workout and he always had a smile on his face. Trust me at 4:45am that is saying something. He is dedicated to my wife’s and my fitness goals and even from such a great distance; I continue to consult him with him from Seattle as I have not found anyone capable of taking his place. Craig sees his clients’ fitness as reflections of his work and dedication to his craft.
Rob Poirier, Halifax, NS:
Craig brings an infectious enthusiasm to training which helps keep me interested and working just a little bit harder. He's a likeable guy who knows what he's doing.I can tell that Craig gets genuinely excited about his clients progress.Forget the personal trainer hype. If you have a goal in mind, Craig will help you get there.
Jaye Maheux, Dartmouth, NS:
After more than 25 years of traditional workouts, I discovered the ultimate experience in fitness training and his name is Craig Guthrie. Craig was exactly what I was looking for and I feel privileged to have not only met such a genuine person but the benefit to have been coached under his unique style. A new word, kettlebell, was introduced to my vocabulary and because of Craig’s contagious enthusiasm; I can now say the word without cringing. I feel the thing about kettlebells is that the leverage is different. At the top of a movement there is little resistance with a dumbbell; however with a kettlebell there is always resistance. Kettlebells became surprisingly different and more productive as my training continued.
As I read through Craig’s written credentials, education and accomplishments, I believe he deserves great recognition for hugely contributing to the personal interests and dreams of others. Two unwritten words found in between those lines are “passion” and “charisma”. Craig was always excited and supportive about me challenging myself and reaching my goals and always talked passionately about his clients, friends and in particular his family. He brings inspiration into a room and always remained humble when I thanked him after every workout.
Having a personal trainer like Craig pushed my comfort zone and I feel I went from being in good shape to enjoying the feeling of being in great shape. I would encourage anyone to have an assessment done and permit Craig to design your own appropriate training plan. It’s a wonderful experience and only a decision away.
