“We are not as strong as out strongest muscles but only as strong as our weakest.”-Shawn Mozen
Last week we posted this movement challenge on our Instagram and the feedback around the world was inspiring. So many of you tried the movement and shared it with your friends that you have inspired us to launch a weekly movement challenge.
Agatsu Movement Challenge- Be #flexible & #strong. Try testing your active flexibility with this great stretch. From your knees either with your hands on your thighs (beginner) or off arch back and move your head toward the floor. Pause and then come back up without the aid of your hands. How did you? TAG A FRIEND SO THEY CAN TRY
Each week we will release a new video on our blog and Instagram accounts. These movements are not simply show off tricks that have become so popular on social media but rather they are meant to shine a light on your personal practice. We truly are only as strong as our weakest links and you need to challenge yourself to try new movements to discover what those weak links are. While many people are frustrated by movements that they can’t perform their reaction should be of joy since their new discovery if trained properly will lead them to even greater potential. So lets all train together and take the Agatsu Movement Challenge.
“Change your movement and you change your life.”Shawn Mozen
This weeks new movement is the Monk Situp. With legs positioned in butterfly, lay back and place your arms over your head. Maintain your arm position as you perform the sit-up. Make sure to keep your hands touching each other and on the ground! Try not to rely on momentum and shooting your arms forward in front of your ears to perform the movement. Don’t worry there are no fitness police with you, do your best and try to be as strict as possible. Share your practice with us and your friends. Tag your friends on our video and tag us when you post your own. Tag Instagram @agatsufitness and Facebook Agatsu For a chance to be featured on our social media.
