Each week we will release a new video movement challenge on our blog and Instagram accounts. These movements are not simply show off tricks that have become so popular on social media but rather they are meant to shine a light on your personal practice. We truly are only as strong as our weakest links and you need to challenge yourself to try new movements to discover what those weak links are. While many people are frustrated by movements that they can’t perform their reaction should be of joy since their new discovery if trained properly will lead them to even greater potential. So lets all train together and take the Agatsu Movement Challenge.

Agatsu Movement Challenge Week 63!! “Serving tea cups”is a great way to start to incorporate joint articulation in those ‘danger’ areas that fitness experts say never to enter for fear of injury.
Start simple with no object then work your way to a light object, keeping your palm & fingers flat maneuver the teacup from your waist to overhead. As you & your body become more familiar with the movement, challenge yourself to squat to your full depth while passing the cup overhead & extending your arm fully to the side. Be creative but make sure you work to your end ranges of motion before adding more load.
This is a staple at our mobility courses. We work up to using 1-5lbs weighted plates for more tissue & joint prep. Sometimes we even have 2 teacups & roll
